Dear Madam/ Sir,
Greetings from ARM (Alternative for Rural Movement), Orissa, India. I have the privilege to introduce to one of the pioneer Voluntary Rural Development Organization of north Orissa in India that has been working on the empowerment, mainstreaming and rights realization of backward rural sections with emphasis on women advancement.
An array of activities ,ranging from literacy,health,education,entrepreneurship,economic & environmental programmes are going on covering 5-10 lakh backward population of Balasore district. Self Help & rural leadership drives have been the main stay of our sustainable intervention mission.
We, however, feel the support of international volunteers for strengthening our activities through more financial and programme backup .Our efforts through electronic message and proposals, many often, fail to draw adequate response thus weakening our resource base.
Under the circumstances, I fervently appeal your esteemed authority to act as fundraising volunteers for our social service activities. As individual/organizational capacities in your own country so that the rural development outreach could be boost up.
Your benign volunteerism will sure to act as a liaisoning point for our organization in your country and we would be able to present our points better before donor agencies in facilitating.
